MARCO
DE STEFANI

Web developer and DevOps consultant. I design and build websites and web apps, draw when the project needs it, run the infrastructure behind them and wire in AI where it helps. A bit of everything, on purpose.

Get in touch What I do

What I do

  • Websites & web apps

Websites, portals and web apps, from the first sketch to the deploy. Front end, back end, and yes, it has animations.

    react · next.js · svelte · typescript · webgl

  • Design & digital art

Graphics, illustration and 2D digital artwork, for a site or for a brand. I trained in concept art, so your site gets drawn before it gets coded.

digital artwork · illustration · concept art · ui

  • DevOps & platforms

Kubernetes operations and platform engineering: clusters, cloud, CI/CD, GitOps, observability. All of it as code, so your team can read it, change it and run it without me.

    kubernetes · opentofu · flux · tekton · cilium · aws · gcp

  • AI integrations

AI that does a job inside the tools you already use, not a chatbot bolted to the homepage.

    llm · agents · integrations · automation

How I work

  • By project

A clear goal and a timeline: a site, a migration, a platform to set up. I deliver it and hand it over, documented.

  • In your team

I join your people for a while and ship with them. When I leave, they can run it all without me.

Frontend, then backend, then full stack, then DevOps. And before all that, a concept-art portfolio at Scuola Internazionale di Comics.

Who with

  1. today DonQ Padua DevOps for the IT department of the University of Padua.
  2. Web3 / finance LI.FI Berlin DevOps: I ran their infrastructure on Kubernetes, taking thousands of requests per second.
  3. Lavazza · Luxottica Anubi Italy Collaborations with the Anubi creative studio for clients like Lavazza and Luxottica.
  4. employee, at several companies In-house Fullstack developer and DevOps: mainly web apps in the cloud, and websites.

What runs when nobody’s paying

  • casasulgorgo

A local project about the Gorgo della Sposa, a pond in the Polesine: its wildlife, season by season, in pixel art. Next up: IoT solutions to monitor the birds.

  • infra

My Kubernetes homelab on Intel NUCs: Talos, Flux, OpenTofu, Cilium, Tekton, signed images with SLSA provenance. It also runs my home automations with Home Assistant. Way too much for a few websites. That’s the point.

  • Rust side projects

Small experiments around my CI, nothing fancy yet:

    tekton-matrix-bot ↗

    tangled-interceptor ↗

KNOWN BUGS

  • Will suggest Nix at some point. Do not engage.
  • Puts everything in IaC. If it was set up by hand, it doesn’t exist.
  • Interrupts all running threads if a cat enters the room.

Got a problem? Good.

A site to build, artwork to draw, infra on fire, an AI idea to take out of the slide deck. Write to me, You'll get a reply from me, not a bot.

I only use your name and email to reply. Privacy
